During their friendly and constructive talks, the two officials discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation between Serbia and Syria, with a special focus on issues of mutual interest in the fields of economic cooperation, regional stability, humanitarian initiatives and people-to-people relations.
Zukorlić emphasised Serbia’s readiness to contribute to the process of Syria’s reconstruction and stabilisation through institutional cooperation and concrete projects, and to further strengthen the ties between the peoples of the two countries.
He underlined the importance of continuing dialogue, solidarity and mutual respect in a time of global challenges.
Al-Shaibani expressed gratitude for the visit and Serbia’s openness to cooperation, stressing that such meetings contribute to deepening political, economic and cultural relations between the two friendly nations.
This visit represents an important step in Minister Zukorlić’s international engagement in building bridges of cooperation and trust in the Middle East and beyond.
The meeting was also attended by Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Lebanon Milan Trojanović, who is also accredited to Syria.
