Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starović visited Brussels as part of the official delegation of the Republic of Serbia, together with the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ana Brnabić.
During the visit, the delegation met with European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos to discuss Serbia’s continued commitment to European integration, the opening of Cluster 3 and progress in key reforms as part of the accession process.
The delegation also had talks with Gert Jan Koopman, Director-General of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG ENEST) regarding the rule of law, the electoral process and continued implementation of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe’s (OSCE) Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) recommendations.
Starović emphasised Serbia’s strong commitment to the European path and reiterated that EU membership remains the country’s strategic goal, according to a statement from the Ministry of European Integration.
