Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić stated today, after talks with US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau in Dayton, that the Serbian administration will work to exploit the full potential for the development of economic, political, cultural and all other relations with the US.

Đurić emphasised that he is familiar with the strategic vision of US President Donald Trump, assessing that his contribution to efforts to establish peace in Europe and the world is of key importance for our immediate future and openness to dialogue, the search for solutions that satisfy the interests of all parties and the readiness to compromise.
According to him, we have a historic chance to work on improving bilateral relations in our generation, to raise the 144-year-old partnership between Serbia and America to a new, strategic level.
The Minister explained that he visited Ohio in order to participate in a gathering in Dayton to mark the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Dayton Agreement, which ended the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
