The Serbian government adopted today the Resolution on establishment of the Cyrillic Museum in Rača near Bajina Bašta, which will significantly contribute to the preservation, promotion and study of the Cyrillic script, as one of the basic elements of national identity.

Government members also adopted the Proposal for Amendments to the Law on Advertising, which represents a step further in harmonisation with European Union regulations, i.e. the new regulatory framework regarding the provision of audiovisual media services.
The solutions in the Law needed to be harmonised with the continuous development of this market and in accordance with new methods of advertising.
Also, advertising of games of chance has been regulated more restrictively. In order to intensify the fight against smoking, advertising rules have been extended to include, in addition to tobacco products, related products.
Government members also adopted a regulation creating the conditions for the release of 60 new prescription drugs on the market of the Republic of Serbia.
