The interlocutors assessed that the current police cooperation in the field of combating organized crime and terrorism, as well as combating irregular migration, is at a very high level.
Dačić pointed to the successful cooperation of the Serbian border police with colleagues from Turkey within the framework of joint patrols at the most frequent border crossings in Serbia.
During the meeting, the readiness to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the fight against all forms of crime, in the implementation of joint training, as well as in the field of emergency situations, was expressed, based on the Memorandum of Understanding between the competent services of the two ministries in the field of emergency situations and disaster protection. The aforementioned document was signed last year, during the official visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Serbia.
