Serbian Minister of Economy Predrag Bubalo talked today with deputy director of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Rainer Geiger.
The Serbian Ministry of Economy stated that Geiger informed Bubalo at the meeting on the results of the meeting “Investment Compact for South East Europe” which was held in Vienna on June 26 and 27. He also said that the OECD will support Serbia in future initiatives and promotional activities which aim to attract foreign direct investments.
Serbia should take over the regional co-chair role in the Investment Compact for South East Europe from Bulgaria in the upcoming period, which will expand Serbia’s opportunities as an investment destination in Europe, reads the statement.
