Serbia will continue to be reliable partner for Germany

Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić emphasised today, during the talks with Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Serbia Anke Konrad, that our country is determined to continue to strengthen and improve cooperation with the new government of that state on the existing basis through regular political dialogue at the high and highest levels.

Đurić expressed his belief that the Western Balkans, cooperation with the region and further contribution to its stabilisation and European integration will be at the top of the agenda of the government of Chancellor Friedrich Merz, adding that Serbia will continue to be a reliable and responsible partner for Germany in this part of Europe.

Speaking about bilateral economic relations, the Serbian Foreign Minister expressed satisfaction with the extremely developed cooperation in all key economic sectors, emphasising in particular that Germany is one of the largest investors in Serbia.

The Minister expressed concern about the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, which has further escalated due to the latest unilateral and provocative acts of the Priština regime.

He assessed that it is unacceptable that in the past three days alone, Kurti's regime has carried out two violent raids on vital facilities, thus endangering the functioning of the entire utility, infrastructure, health and education system in northern Kosovo and Metohija.
