The Serbian government adopted today the Air Protection Bill, which envisages improvements to the regulatory framework and thus the framework for practical implementation of measures for an improved air quality.
The aim of the new provisions is further harmonisation with internationally assumed obligations in the field of air protection and ozone layer, as well as with the EU acquis.
The government also adopted the Decree on the conditions and manner of allocation and use of loans to improve the quality of the tourism offer, in the total amount of RSD 10,000,000.
The government also adopted the Conclusion on the need and manner of purchase of Serbian artist Uroš Predić’s 1884 painting “Portrait of a Girl with a Book in an Armchair” for the Serbian National Museum, through a public auction at the Dorotheum Auction House in Vienna.
Government members also passed the Resolution granting approval for the candidacy of the Serbian Boxing Federation to host the IBA Women’s World Boxing Championship in Niš in 2025.
Resolutions were also adopted on granting national recognitions to athletes Marina Dmitrović and Marko Ždero, medal winners at world championships in handball and basketball respectively, due to their turning 40 years of age.
