Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Milica Đurđević Stamenkovski led today, on the occasion of the Day of Victory over Fascism and Nazism in World War II, a state wreath-laying ceremony at the Cemetery of the Liberators of Belgrade.

On this occasion, Đurđević Stamenkovski said that it is our obligation to never allow fascism and Nazism to rise again.
She recalled that we were the first European people to mount a determined resistance against the Nazi and fascist forces, which at the time sought to reshape the destiny of humanity.
Serbia stood tall in Kragujevac, on the Syrmian Front and everywhere where it offered resistance – from Loznica, the first liberated city, to other sites of our suffering, Đurđević Stamenkovski recalled.
