Serbian government offers condolences over killings of Russian diplomats

Serbian Minister of Science and Environmental Protection Aleksandar Popovic signed on behalf of the Serbian government, the book of condolence at the Russian embassy in Belgrade, which has been opened for four Russian diplomats murdered in Iraq.
“Friends share the good and the bad, feel joy in common happiness and suffer in common sorrow.
Serbia, the Serbian government and the Serbian people as firm friends of Russia are speechless in shock over the criminal killings of innocent and good men who, for the good of their country and for the good of the country to which they were sent, did noble work.
These innocent victims prove that terrorism is everywhere and is always the same, and in the fight against terrorism no exceptions should ever be made.
In these difficult moments I want to convey heartfelt condolences to the families of the brutally murdered Russian diplomats, the people and the government of Russia, in the name of the Serbian people and the Serbian government,” wrote Minister Popovic.
