Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Đedović Handanović stated today that work is progressing on the construction of a flue gas desulphurisation facility at thermal power plant TENT B, as part of one of the country’s largest environmental projects.

Đedović Handanović noted that more than 96% of the construction work has been completed and all major equipment has been installed.
According to her, the project, worth approximately €220 million, will introduce state-of-the-art desulphurisation technology at units B1 and B2, leading to a thirtyfold reduction in sulphur dioxide emissions, along with a decrease of particulate matter emissions.
