Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Aleksandra Sofronijević met today with Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Serbia Madi Atamkulov to discuss the establishment of regular air traffic on the Belgrade-Astana route.

During the meeting, it was emphasised that there are no legal obstacles to this initiative, given that a Memorandum of Understanding was signed in 2018 between the Ministry for Investment and Development of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of Serbia.
Sofronijević assessed that today’s meeting is an important step in strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
