Government passes several decrees and decision in Kragujevac

The Serbian government in a session today in Kragujevac established a bill on insurance and adopted the Information on starting negotiations on concluding a free trade agreement in Southeastern Europe.
The government adopted a Decision on use of funds for natural disaster relief to the amount of 50 million dinars for the municipalities of Arandjelovac, Uzice, Bela Palanka, Zemun, Despotovac, Mali Zvornik, Babusnica, Cuprija, Aleksinac, Gadzin Han, Gornji Milanovac, Novi Pazar and Valjevo.
The government decided to form a committee for implementation of national judicial reform and adopted the Information on the project for implementation of that reform. The president of the committee will be Serbian Minister of Justice Zoran Stojkovic.
A Decree changing the Decree on criteria for setting the prices of medicines has been passed today as well.
The government adopted a Decree on issuance of a post stamp for cancer awareness month as well as a Decree changing the Decree on setting up the Coordinating Centre for Kosovo-Metohija. The same decree concerning the Coordinating Centre for the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja was also passed.
The government also adopted a Decision establishing that the Republic of Serbia took over founding rights in the Serbia-Montenegrin Directorate of Civil Air Traffic.
Also, the government decided to change the Decision on special import fees for agricultural and food products.
The last item on the agenda today was a discussion between government members and local authorities in Kragujevac and the Sumadija districts, Representatives of trade unions were also involved in the talks. It was concluded that much has been done on solving problems in Kragujevac, but it was also stressed that joint efforts must be made to find solutions to remaining issues.
