During talks with the delegation of the US corporation, which also has factories in Serbia, Kostunica said that the company is of great economic importance to Serbia. He stressed that the Serbian government is determined to improve the business climate and encourage a larger influx of foreign investment.
The delegation of US Steel said at the meeting that their intention is to increase production in their factories in Serbia, which will also lead to an increase in export and provide employment to more people.
The meeting was also attended by Serbian Minister of Economy Predrag Bubalo, Serbian Minister of Energy and Mining Radomir Naumov, Serbian Minister of Capital Investment Velimir Ilic and Serbian Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Policy Slobodan Lalovic.
