Serbian Minister of Health and president of the Council for the Right's of the Child Tomica Milosavljevic is taking part in the 3rd inter-governmental conference on the rights of the child themed "Making Europe and Central Asia Fit for Children", on June 19 and 20 in Palencia, Spain.
A statement by the ministry says that on the first day of the conference, Milosavljevic participated in the work of a working representative body presenting UNICEF's global report on the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in Europe and Central Asia.
At a plenary session, the Minister also spoke about the work of the Serbian government's Council for the Right's of the Child, the national action plan for children and its implementation in practice.
Taking part in the conference are also representatives of European and Central Asian governments, as well as international organisations and NGOs.
