Serbian Minister of Economy Predrag Bubalo talked today with head of IMF mission in Serbia Peter Doyle on the progress made in structural reforms and the privatisation process in Serbia.
Talks between Bubalo and Doyle were held within the framework of monitoring economic policy in Serbia following the successful conclusion of the three-year arrangement with the IMF. Agreement was reached on the occasion of the necessity of preserving macroeconomic stability to allow long term sustainable economic growth. It was also said that changes made in structural reforms so far are going in the right direction but they need to be accelerated.
