Stojkovic briefed Urstad on the activities the Ministry of Justice has undertaken so far to efficiently implement the national strategy for judiciary reform.
The Minister said that the Criminal Procedure Code is one of the crucial laws in the judiciary reform and pointed out that this law will come into force one year after it has been adopted in Serbian parliament, which is a sufficient period of time for judiciary office holders to be trained for the implementation of novelties prescribed by the law.
Urstad said he is satisfied with the activities of the Ministry of Justice on the preparation of a series of laws and added that the OSCE Mission is ready to assist in the implementation of existing laws and preparation of new ones.
