In a regional conference on education of ethnic minorities, Vuksanovic said that import of Hungarian textbooks has been approved. Hungarians, comprise the largest ethnic group in the country, and a number of classrooms in medical schools in Vojvodina will be taught in Hungarian the Minister stated.
According to Vuksanovic, the Teacher-Training Faculty in Hungarian will start working on October 1, while the setting up of a teacher-training faculty in Albanian is underway.
Solving the problem of education in the municipalities of Bujanovac and Presevo is currently underway, Vuksanovic noted.
The two-day conference on education of ethnic minorities gathered participants from Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo-Metohija and Croatia as well as experts from Hungary and UK.
