The Serbian government adopted at its session today the Bill on associations, a Decree determining the property and persons that can be insured with a foreign insurance company, as well as amendments to the Decree on the customs treatment of goods, goods release and customs debt collection.
It also decided to set up provisional administration in the Zabari municipality.
The government decided to set aside 23 million dinars from the budget to finance the final preparations of the Serbia-Montenegrin national football team before the World Championship in Germany.
Also, another 7 million dinars will be used to finance the 67th international bicycle race "Through Serbia 2006".
The government gave consent to the initiative to start the privatisation process of public broadcasting companies Regionalna Televizija Valjevo from Valjevo and Radio TV Podrinje from Loznica.
It consented to the proposed amendments to the annual business schedule of public telecommunications company PTT Saobracaj for the year 2006.
The government approved the Solidarity Fund's annual report for 2005 and accepted its financial report for the same year.
The government also adopted the Information on the upcoming meeting of the Vienna Economic Forum themed "Invest in Serbia, Invest in the Region", scheduled for June 11 and 12 in Belgrade. It will be held under the auspices of Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica.
It also adopted the Information on the write-off of Serbia's debt to Germany, as part of the debt towards the Paris Club of Creditors and investments into projects in the energy sector (Remote Heating System Rehabilitation in Serbia – stage three).
At the session, the government agreed on the necessity of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between Serbia on one side and Austria and Switzerland on the other, with the aim of implementing a reform project concerning regulations of property rights in Serbia.
