Interior ministry cuts off another drug smuggling route

The Serbian Ministry of Interior stated that together with members of the Nis and Vranje secretariats, the police seized three kilos of heroin and arrested three people thus severing another drug smuggling route from Turkey, via Macedonia and Kosovo-Metohija to Serbia, where it ended in a network of middle-men in Vranje, Nis and Belgrade.
Last night at the car park in front of the Vranje Hotel, the police took in Ivica B., Milos M. and Ivica M. from Vranje in whose possession they discovered the heroin and several revolvers.
The drug was smuggled from Presevo through suppliers of Albanian nationality, some of whom have been identified. The police is now looking for them.
All suspects were taken before the investigating judge, concludes the statement.
