Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić spoke in New York with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Labour and Trade of Tuvalu Paulson Panapa about continuing to improve cooperation between the two countries.
Expressing his satisfaction with their second meeting taking place in the space of a month, Đurić said that he is convinced that frequent contact and open communication at a high level will be a feature of future bilateral relations. He added that the period ahead for the two countries will serve to deepen their understanding of one another and explore avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation.
Following the meeting, Đurić and Panapa signed the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Tuvalu on the abolition of visas for holders of diplomatic and official passports.
