Starting salary in education to be equalised with average salary

At the meeting, Vučević presented the government's proposal that from 1 January 2025, educators will have a two-digit percentage salary increase, which will be 50% higher than the salary increase of other employees in the public sector.
The Prime Minister emphasised that this would significantly bring the starting salary in education equal to the average salary in the Republic of Serbia, which is one of the demands of the trade union.
