Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić pointed out today that Dominica has always respected the sovereignty of Serbia, expressing the expectation that cooperation with that country will be continued and intensified.
After a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Business, Trade and Energy of the Commonwealth of Dominica Vince Henderson, who is visiting Serbia for the first time, Đurić expressed his gratitude to that country for respecting the territorial integrity of Serbia, for its support on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija and in international organisations.
He noted that he and Henderson signed the Protocol on Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries.
We want to be recognised as an entrance ticket to Europe for the countries of the Caribbean and Central and Latin America, Đurić said, adding that he and his colleague discussed strengthening cooperation in the field of health and agriculture.
According to him, Serbia, which increased its GDP two and a half times by relying on technologies, wants to share its positive experiences with that country.
Henderson said that Dominica will continue to respect Serbia's sovereignty and support our country on all important issues.
Dominica remains steadfastly with you. We are working on participating in the EXPO 2027 exhibition. We supported your candidacy and will be present at that event, he said, inviting Serbia to participate in the tourism fair in Dominica next year.
