The Serbian Fund for Young Talents brought a decision today at its session chaired by Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica to give cash rewards from 200,000 dinars to 1 million dinars to secondary school and university students who achieved outstanding results at various competitions in the country and abroad.
The rewards were given to twenty secondary school and university students who won awards at the competitions which the Ministry of Education and Sport prescribed by the calendar of competitions, and the amount of reward depended on the place won.
The Fund also decided to give 830,000 dinars to 16 candidates each for the purpose of financing the education and advanced training of talented youngsters.
In addition to the Prime Minister, the session was also attended by Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Vice Chairman of the Fund Miroljub Labus and member ministers Mladjan Dinkic, Slobodan Vuksanovic, Aleksandar Popovic and Dragan Kojadinovic, as well as other members of the Fund for Young Talents.
