The Serbian government at its session today adopted the Bill on criminal procedure, as well as the Proposal of the Decision on adopting a national strategy for judicial reform which has been forwarded to the Serbian parliament for adoption.
The government adopted the Bill on issuing guarantees of the Republic of Serbia to German financial organisation KFW for a loan to the Serbian Electric Power Company (EPS) for the rehabilitation of the Bajina Basta hydroelectric power plant.
It adopted the Decree on amendments to the Decree on salary coefficients for public service employees. The amendments refer to the increase of salary coefficients in the social security sector.
Consent was given at the session to the initiative for starting the privatisation process of public news publishing company “Kikinda” from Kikinda.
The government adopted the Information on signing the contract on financing between the state union of Serbia-Montenegro and the European Investment Bank for the project of rehabilitation of roads and bridges, which includes the rehabilitation of 100 bridges on main and regional roads.
Also adopted at the session is the Information on the necessity of concluding the memorandum on understanding between the Republic of Serbia and the International Organisation for Migration.
Consent was given at the session to the general framework for forest management of the South Morava forest areas for the period until 2010. Consent was also given to the working programme of the public company “Nacionalni Park Tara” for 2006.
A Report was adopted at the session on the realisation of the special social welfare programme of using funds for social security from the budget according to the Law on Serbia’s 2005 budget.
