Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić opened today in Novi Sad the 3rd CISM World Military 3x3 Basketball Championship, where military teams from 16 men's and 12 women's teams from 20 member countries of the International Military Sports Council (CISM) will compete.

In his address to the competitors, Gašić highlighted that Serbia views the organisation of this competition as a sign of the trust that the Ministry of Defense enjoys from the International Military Sports Council, as well as a recognition of our country and people.
CISM Board of Directors member, Major General Oleg Botsman from the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation awarded Gašić the "Grand Officer" decoration.
