Vučević expressed his gratitude to Colangeli for the support and cooperation so far, stressing that the new government of Serbia is ready to continue work on the projects that have been launched, as well as new ones in the fields of energy, renewable energy sources, environmental protection, road and railway infrastructure, as well as in the information technology sector.
The Prime Minister emphasised that the focus of Serbia's cooperation with the EBRD is on regional and local roads, and he mentioned the construction of highways and high-speed railways as the main infrastructure projects, which will better connect the region.
With this, our country creates an even more favourable business environment and proves that it is the right place for foreign investors to invest, the Prime Minister concluded.
The EBRD Head of Mission congratulated Prime Minister Vučević on his election to that position and wished him success in his work, stressing that he hopes for good cooperation on joint projects.
Colangeli emphasised that Serbia has a strategic position as a country that is on the list of the first five countries in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
He underlined the importance of supporting the projects of science parks and BIO 4 campuses, stressing the importance of the development of biotechnology and artificial intelligence in Serbia and the implementation of numerous infrastructure, telecommunications and energy projects.
