Serbia committed to strengthening cooperation with USA in all areas

Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić stated today that one of Serbia's foreign policy priorities is to strengthen its partnership with the USA in all areas, emphasising that the future of bilateral relations must be based on revitalizing their current state.

At the panel "One-on-One with the Minister of Foreign Affairs," part of the conference "Strengthening the Partnership Between Serbia and the USA in a Changing World," Đurić said that there is a strong economic connection between the two countries, as some of the largest American companies are opening their offices in Serbia, while it is also noticeable that the Serbian economy is beginning to seriously position itself in the USA.

He recalled that America is Serbia's primary partner when it comes to the export of IT services, and that the most dynamic and modern aspects of our economy are developing through the cooperation of Serbian and American companies.

According to him, excellent cooperation between Serbia and the USA has existed for over a decade in the field of security, within which this year marks 18 years of partnership between the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ohio National Guard.

Regarding education as one of the key points of connection between our countries, the Serbian Foreign Minister noted that American universities are among the best in the world and that our people are often employed there.
