Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić talked with French Ambassador to Serbia Pierre Cochard about the perspective of development of bilateral relations between the two countries in the areas of mutual interest.
Đurić said that this year marks 185 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
He said that economic cooperation has been developing intensively in the last few years, and that it is beginning to catch up with excellent political relations, recalling that France has been among the top ten largest investors in the Serbian economy for years, as well as among the 15 most important foreign trade partners of our country.
The minister also conveyed to the ambassador his gratitude to that country for its support for the election of Serbia as the Chair of the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) for 2025.
