Stricter police measures ahead of Belgrade matches

The Serbian Ministry of Interior stated yesterday that its units will take stricter necessary measures to ensure that matches to be held in Belgrade today pass normally and that no damage is incurred to citizens and their property.
The statement adds that the new regular round of the 1st state-union Meridian Football League will take place today between the clubs Vozdovac and Partizan, Crvena Zvezda and Smederevo, Rad and Jedinstvo, as well as a basketball game of the Adriatic League between Partizan and Cibona.
According to Article 69 of the Law on Serbian police, police units will be recording events in sports objects and public places where public order is most likely to be disturbed due to the announced matches, concludes the statement.
