Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić spoke today with Minister of the Interior of Slovakia Matúš Šutaj-Eštok, to whom he conveyed Serbia's full solidarity with the people and the government of Slovakia regarding the attack on Prime Minister Robert Fico.

In a telephone conversation, Dačić offered his Slovak colleague every kind of assistance from the Ministry of the Interior and the Serbian police, and expressed his sincere wishes for a speedy recovery of Prime Minister Fico.
He invited the Slovak minister to visit Serbia in the coming period, which would give our traditionally good cooperation an additional impetus, bearing in mind the strong and stable relations between the two countries.
Šutaj-Eštok expressed his gratitude for the support that Serbia is providing to Slovakia in these difficult times, and informed Dačić about the state of health of Prime Minister Fitz, which, according to him, is stable for now, but still critical.
