Đedović Handanović pointed out that official confirmation was received today that the government of Japan, after a preliminary analysis of the technical documentation, formalized the decision on the participation of JICA in the construction of RHE Bistrica, the first reversible hydroelectric power plant that we will build after more than three decades.
The Minister stated that this hydroelectric power plant, with a capacity of 628 megawatts, is important for energy balancing and storage, especially for the provision of sufficient electricity in the coming period, adding that the preparation of technical documentation will be completed by the end of the year, so that preparatory works can begin next year.
