President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping is starting a two-day official visit to our country today, at the invitation of President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, with whom he will discuss the improvement of bilateral relations and cooperation.

Xi is coming to Belgrade on the 25th anniversary of the destruction of the Chinese Embassy building in the NATO bombing, as part of his first visit to Europe in five years, during which he will visit only two more countries, France and Hungary.
The President of the People's Republic of China will be welcomed by Serbian MiG-29 fighters, which will follow his plane as soon as it enters our airspace, and a guard of the Serbian Armed Forces will be lined up in his honour at the Nikola Tesla Airport.
The flags of China and Serbia have been placed along the highway in Belgrade, and a ceremonial welcome of the Chinese delegation will be organised in front of the Palace of Serbia.
