On this day one year ago, nine young people died and 12 were wounded in a shooting spree in Dubona and Malo Orašje, the villages near Mladenovac and Smederevo.

Today, families, friends, citizens, as well as parents of the children killed in the Vladislav Ribnikar elementary school, gathered at the place of the young men's death in Ravni Gaj, in Malo Orašje, where a commemorative programme will be held, which began with a one-minute sounding of sirens.
Those gathered will be shown a half-hour documentary called "Heavenly Group", followed by a recital dedicated to those killed, after which the youth teams of Crvena zvezda and Partizan will play a humanitarian memorial tournament with the aim of collecting aid for the continuation of the recovery of the injured.
The Regulatory Body for Electronic Media called on media service providers to darken the screens on the anniversary of the mass shootings in the villages of Dubona and Malo Orašje, i.e. stop the programme for one minute, at 10:32 p.m., with the text "3 and 4 May 2023. We remember".
