Minister of Health Danica Grujicic and Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto discussed today numerous opportunities for cooperation in the field of health care, especially in the field of oncology, since both Serbia and Hungary have a large number of cancer patients and a high mortality rate from oncology diseases.

Grujicic, who represents Serbia at ATOMEXPO-2024 International Forum, which is being held in Sochi, in the Russian Federation, also spoke with Szijjarto about the cooperation between the two countries in the field of nuclear medicine.
Given that Hungary has a well-developed Centre for Nuclear Medicine in Debrecen, a visit by our experts to this institution was discussed.
One of the topics was the cross-border cooperation of health institutions along the state borders on both sides, in order to facilitate health care and care for the citizens of Serbia and Hungary, especially in case of emergencies.
