It also adopted the Information containing the decisions of the Coordinating Body for directing activities in damage relief work caused by landslide in Serbia.
The government also decided to set up a coordinating body to suppress and eliminate avian flu in Serbia. President of this body will be Deputy Prime Minister Miroljub Labus and members Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Ivana Dulic-Markovic and Minister of International Economic Relations Milan Parivodic.
At the session, the government adopted the Bill on amendments to the Law on telecommunications and decided to adopt the basics for drafting a strategy in the telecommunications sector.
It adopted the Decree on amendments to the Decree on salary coefficients for public service employees. The amendments refer to employees in health services and are in line with the Protocol on the increase of salary coefficients in the health sector, signed on March 24, 2006 between the government and the unions of health employees.
The government adopted the Decree on the types of weapons and equipment of interior ministry's police officers, as well as the Decree on a backup police unit and rights and duties of backup police officers.
It also adopted the Decree on the criteria, conditions and utilisation of funds for tourism subsidies in 2006.
The government adopted the Decree on the utilisation of funds for stimulating the growing of perennial fruit trees, vine and hop in 2006.
Another Decree on the terms and use of funds for the insurance of cattle and crops in 2006 was also adopted.
The government also decided to form the Projecting Council for the purpose of the project on the cadastre of immovables and registry rights in Serbia.
It decided at the session to set aside 12 million dinars from the current budget reserve for the purpose of Serbia's participation in the realisation of the Exit 06 festival in Novi Sad.
