Inspector General of the Serbian Ministry of Interior (MUP) Vladimir Bozovic today gave a lecture at the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) in Budapest. The lecture themed "Fighting corruption in the police through internal control" was attended by members of the 55th class of the Serbia-Montenegrin, Hungarian and Romanian police representatives.

Bozovic is on an official visit to ILEA in Budapest at the invitation of the US FBI National Academy.
The Serbian Ministry of Interior states that Bozovic attended lectures and a presentation of the FBI programme for professional training in fighting corruption. He also had a chance to hear the experience of the US department of internal police control.
Bozovic met with Miles Burden, Director of ILEA in Budapest, and thanked him for his kind invitation to visit the prestigious institution and hold a lecture there.
Bozovic expressed his conviction that the Serbian Ministry of Interior will continue its cooperation with ILEA and the FBI National Academy. He added that Serbia-Montenegrin representatives will greatly benefit from the gained experience since fighting corruption represents an important part in the continuation of the overall police reform, reads the statement.
