Prime Minister Ana Brnabic met today with representatives of the Serbian Administration Trade Union.
The Serbian Administration Trade Union highlighted the demand for a dialogue on improving the working conditions of all employees in the public administration and local governments in Serbia.
Brnabic pointed out that she expects a ten percent salary increase for all employees from 1 January next year.
As the representatives of the trade union pointed out, despite this increase, it is necessary to continue the talks and a continuous dialogue with government representatives, in order to reach a systemic solution for the calculation of wages in the public sector through joint work.
The Prime Minister accepted this proposal, and it was agreed that the next meeting will be held on Friday, 8 December, when concrete proposals will be presented to overcome all the challenges faced by employees in the public administration.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government.
