The Serbian Ministry of Justice stated today that the Serbian government, the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Justice will respect all terms and orders given by court councils of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in decisions according to which Dragoljub Ojdanic, Nikola Sainovic and Nebojsa Pavkovic were granted provisional release.
The same is applicable to those named who are to carry out all obligations determined by court decisions, including the obligation that they are not to leave the territory of the City of Belgrade without the permission of the Ministry of Justice, reads the statement.
As for the departure from the territory of Belgrade, the Ministry allows indictees who are on provisional release in Serbia, to leave the territory of the city for a few hours in certain cases. Such requests for permission are also immediately submitted to the Ministry of Interior, which decides upon a course of action according to its jurisdiction in order to respect all undertaken obligations.
