Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic announced today that our country, by decree of President of the Republic Aleksandar Vucic, has got an ambassador – a permanent representative at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
Dacic pointed out that Grubjesic will represent our country in this oldest intergovernmental organisation in Europe.
Grubjesic graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Belgrade, where she also completed postgraduate studies. During her career, she was vice president of the Center for Foreign Policy, general secretary of the European Movement in Serbia, and she also worked at the Center for International Relations and Sustainable Development and the G17 Institute.
From 2004 to 2012, she was a member of the National Assembly of Serbia, from July 2012 to September 2013, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, and from 2015 to 2017, she worked in the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications as special advisor for European integration.
Grubjesic speaks English and is fluent in French, German and Greek.
