Motorists urged to drive with caution

The Traffic Police Department in the Serbian Ministry of Interior appealed last night to all motorists to drive more carefully and slowly because of the current weather conditions in the country which have aggravated traffic.
The statement reads that roads and streets in Serbia are wet and icy in places, as well as covered in snow. Drivers are urged to use winter equipment if weather and road conditions require it.
In such unfavourable weather conditions, traffic wardens are controlling traffic, especially on sections where the traffic flow is aggravated, and assisting all participants in traffic, but they are also issuing fines to drivers whose careless behaviour on roads poses a threat to other participants in traffic causing traffic accidents.
