The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management announced that the veterinary services have carried out 301,084 active surveillances of domestic and wild pigs due to African swine fever in the territory of the Republic to date, and the undertaking of comprehensive measures is coordinated by the national team formed by the government of Serbia.

The team is chaired by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, while the deputy chairperson is Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Jelena Tanaskovic.
The team gathers representatives of the relevant ministries, the parliamentary committee for agriculture, the professional public, the police, the army, and the Department for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of the Interior.
