Inspector General of the Serbian Ministry of Interior (MUP) Vladimir Bozovic talked today with Chairman of the Belgian Standing Police Monitoring Committee Andre Vandoren and member of the Committee Gil Bourdoux, whose visit to the Inspectorate General was organised by the OSCE Mission to Serbia-Montenegro.
The Belgian visitors, who are the Council of Europe's renowned experts for training in fighting organised crime and corruption, held a one-day seminar for Inspectorate employees. At the seminar, they shared their experiences in fighting corruption and developing legislature and talked about the UN and Council of Europe's principles and standards in fighting corruption.
Vandoren and Bourdoux said they are very pleased to begin cooperation with the Inspectorate General and officially invited Bozovic to visit Belgium and get acquainted with the way internal and external control of the Belgium police is conducted.
