Government sets maximum selling price of white bread

At today's session, the government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Decree on the mandatory production and sale of bread made from "T-500" flour, which prescribes the maximum selling price of bread in the amount of RSD 54, as well as that the total margin rate, which is calculated on the net invoice price, must not exceed 6%.

Also, retailers that sell bread must have at least 30% of bread made from "T-500" flour in their sales facilities, while at the same time, 32,000 tons of this flour will be sold to bread producers.

At the session, a Decision was made on the allocation of funds collected on the basis of the postponement of criminal prosecution, that is, on the basis of opportunity.

Funds in the total amount of RSD 500 million are intended for projects that were awarded at the Public tender for the allocation of funds collected on the basis of criminal prosecution, which was announced by the Ministry of Justice.

The government also adopted the Conclusion on consent to undertake the necessary activities for the organization of diaspora evenings in municipalities where camps for young people from the diaspora are organized, as a promotion of financial support programmes, measures and activities in the field of preserving and strengthening relations between the Republic of Serbia and the diaspora through the organisation of such camps in 2023.

One of the ways to get acquainted will be a visit to the diaspora and the region with the aim of affirming the economic potential of cities and municipalities, with the aim of returning to Serbia.

The government of the Republic of Serbia also passed a Decision on the establishment of cooperation between the City of Leskovac and the Municipality of Aristotelis, the Municipal Community of Yerisos, the Republic of Greece in areas of mutual interest, related to tourism, culture, economic development and other areas.
