The government passed the Decision on minimum prices and excises for tobacco products. The minimum price of a cigarette pack is 40 dinars, and the minimum excise is 9.37 dinars per pack.
The Decision on the use of current budgetary funds was adopted, releasing 5,190,000 dinars for the needs of judiciary organs.
The government adopted the Information on the status of real estate used by publishing companies Novosti, Borba, and Stamparija Borba.
The government charged the Serbian Public Attorney's Office with the task of registering the real estate used by the above mentioned companies as the property of the Republic of Serbia.
The government charged the Ministry of Economy with making a revision of the value assessment and ownership structure of the capital, as well as shareholders of Novosti, Borba, and Stamparija Borba, with the aim of determining the share of the state capital in the overall capital of these companies, in the favour of the Republic of Serbia.
The Ministry is additionally charged with suspending all activities related to recording and issuing shares of these companies, until the process of their privatisation has been completed.
The government adopted at its session the Information on the donation for the preparation of the Bor regional development project.
The government adopted the Information on European partnership and assigned the Serbian government’s EU Integration Office, in cooperation with ministries, to form a plan for implementing priorities in European partnership.
An Information was also adopted at the session on economic cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Holland within the framework of the Holland government's programme for cooperation with countries of central and southeastern Europe.
The government adopted an Information on the need to conclude a trade agreement between the Serbia-Montenegrin Council of Ministers and the South African government. According to the proposal of the agreement, it is envisaged that both countries extend to each other the most favoured nation treatment, in accordance with the principles of the WTO agreement.
An Information was also adopted at the session on the need to conclude the agreement with Croatia on navigation of inland waterways, their layout and maintenance.
