Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesic said today that a memorandum has been signed which abolishes absolutely all restrictions on air traffic between the Republic of Serbia and the People's Republic of China.

Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesic said today that a memorandum has been signed which abolishes absolutely all restrictions on air traffic between the Republic of Serbia and the People's Republic of China.
Vesic said that the document signed enables the free operation of air transport between China and Serbia, without the restrictions that existed until now for both Chinese and Serbian air carriers.
The minister added that now all restrictions are being lifted and sharing in flight share is possible, and all restrictions on the number of landings and the use of aircraft of other airlines are being lifted too.
The essence of this memorandum is that there is a "free sky" between China and Serbia. In the future, more flights to China are expected, not only the existing two that the Chinese airline has to Belgrade and one once a week that departs from Belgrade to China, Vesic pointed out.
He added that a large number of Chinese citizens who will come to Serbia both as tourists and as business people are expected, as well as a large number of our people who will go to China.
