Minister of Domestic and Foreign Trade Tomislav Momirovic held a meeting today in Kigali with Prime Minister of the Republic of Rwanda Eduard Ngirente, by which he started his three-day official working visit to East Africa.
Momirovic pointed out that Serbia and Rwanda traditionally have very good political relations and added that it is time for the economic cooperation between our two countries to be much more developed, bearing in mind the numerous potentials.
Rwanda is interested in importing large quantities of grain to meet its needs, and in the conditions when there is a war in the east of Europe, we offered our friends the supply of corn, wheat, as well as other products at extremely favourable prices, the Minister said.
During the day, Momirovic also held a meeting with Minister of Trade of Rwanda Jean-Chrysostome Ngabitsinze and on that occasion pointed out that we see significant opportunities for improving our economic cooperation in the sphere of trade, agriculture and the IT sector.
