The government adopted the Decree on establishing the water management plan on the territory of the Republic of Serbia until 2027, which determines the programme of measures that need to be implemented by that year in order to achieve the set environmental goals defined for all water bodies of surface and underground water. The preparation of the Plan is also part of the process of implementing the European Union Water Framework Directive.
At the session, the Decree on the declaration of the special nature reserve "Uvac" was adopted, which ensures the preservation of the attractive, spectacular morphological features of this area.
The presence of one of the rarest species of vulture in our country, the griffon vulture, gives this area a special character, while the high cliffs of Uvac are inhabited by strictly protected plant species - orchids: Dactylorhiza sambucina, as well as a number of other plants, fish, birds, mammals...
