Working group formed to monitor gas delivery situation

Serbian Minister of Energy and Mining Radomir Naumov formed today a working group for observing and monitoring the situation in gas delivery to consumers of natural gas in Serbia. The working group is to consider the circumstances that have led to disorder in gas delivery in the period of December 2005 to January 2006.
In a period of two weeks from the beginning of its work the working group will recommend a list of priority consumers of natural gas to the Ministry of Energy and Mining. The list will be confirmed by the Ministry of Energy and Mining and is based on the proposals of all other ministries, who will according to their jurisdiction, finalise these priorities.
The working group will monitor gas delivery to consumers until the end of the heating season of 2005-2006 and inform the Ministry of Energy and Mining, and also propose measures that should be taken.
The working group will work throughout the duration of the heating season of 2005-2006, and the method and starting point of its work will be specified by Assistant Minister of Energy and Mining for public companies Milutin Prodanovic, who is also head of the working group, concludes the statement by the Ministry of Energy and Mining.
