The Ministry of Environmental Protection announced today that the government has adopted the Decree on the conditions and method of implementing the subsidised purchase of new electric and hybrid vehicles.

For the purchase of mopeds and light tricycles, a subsidy in the amount of €250 will be allocated, and for a motorcycle, a motorcycle with a side seat, a heavy tricycle, a light and a heavy quadricycle, €500 will be granted, while the purchase of passenger and cargo vehicles will be subsidised by the payment of €2,500 up to €5,000.
The right to subsidised purchase of vehicles is available to legal entities, entrepreneurs and natural persons, who can submit the request no later than 31 October 2023.
RSD 294 million are provided for the implementation of subsidized vehicle purchases in the budget for 2023, which is twice as much as last year.
